Slaf asked to have more board play video material a few weeks ago (more than what the coaches already gave him). He's been working his ass off the last few weeks on that specific skill.

Doughty has got to be the biggest compiler the league has seen in a while. Guy exploded onto the scene and was legitimately one of the best in the league for like four years then literally phoned it in since the Olympic gold and Stanley cup year except for contract years. People thought he'd be considered the best of his generation but I think he's even fallen below a guy like Pietrangelo. Can't imagine any Lidstrom team finishing low enough to pick second overall.

Lidstrom was great obviously, but didn't do it by himself
