I guess Nashville will be happy to hear about our latest injury. Actually, I suppose Ovechkin will also be relieved that he'll no longer face competition for the goal scoring title for the remainder of the season. It's really unbelievable that we keep getting all these injuries. Although we should lock up a playoff spot soon, I'm concerned we won't have enough fuel left in the tank with all these injuries to do any damage in the playoffs.

Just got home and pretty impressive game by the Jets. Totally owned the Kings in the 3rd. Great game by Connor. Nice to see Scheifele start shaking off the rust and a really solid game by Comrie. Too bad about Laine, hopefully not out too long.

Thought Little really stepped up. His play in OT was a beauty to create space and set up O’Connor who was also great.

Ehlers electric all night. Not much to show for it but man did he create some stuff tonight.

Sounds like Laine is not long term. Sweet night.

Let's not get carried away. It was the 3rd game in 4 nights in 3 different cities and 2 of the games went into OT.
Nope no need to get carried away. Jets dominated that team as they should. It wasn't even close.I hope Preds fans don't get carried away with beating the boys 3-1 at the end of their 6 gm road trip. All BS aside I think that game and how they pushed back could be a defining moment for the team. Good on them

Perfect example of where an apposing goalie has the potential to break your heart any given night - so glad we pulled it out in OT.

All lines churning tonight despite the blender when Laine went down - 4th line is aces and that includes Tanev - they punish every shift.

Nuff said about Connor - he gets better every game - best puck handler on the team IMO, especially in tight. Also, notice he's the go to guy in the slot now (over Scheif)? He gets it away in a hurry and it's always on net.

OT scares me when we insist on starting wheeler and pals - they were gassed before they took the OT opening face-off. Hopefully there was a lesson learned tonight for Maurice and who he ices in OT - that's all I have to complain about -Jets looked real good.

Good win. Typical OT to start though... Buff Wheeler Scief

Maurice doesn't realize he was half a goal post from people wanting to lynch him.
Yeah he might not realize how we like to run around screaming the sky is falling around here. He does do a pretty impressive job trolling this board however.

It was a fun game to be at, as mentioned the Jets carried the play all night.

Happy to see Comrie bounce back with a solid outing. He didn't have a tonne of work but sometimes those are harder to stay engaged in. He made all the saves he needed to and managed his rebounds quite well.

Morrissey was the best dmen on the ice and started to take it over by the end of the game. Glad he got an assist on the OT goal, but I am a bit pissed the NHL elected to take his assist away from a couple games ago. Myers was once again a hot mess with the puck, stick handled himself into trouble, coughed it up on breakouts all night and his reads and reaction speed where at snail speed. He needs to be removed from the PP immediately.

Buff and Enstrom with some real nice games, no complaints.

The third pair had a pretty nice night as well.

CSW - Won their match up against a very good top line and a top 3 dmen in the league. Not sure why some are raging on Scheifele, he was good in his own end, managed the NZ very well and set up some grade A chances including the game tieing goal. Wheeler worked very hard but I don't think he generated much. Connor was excellent, his board work and puck control in tight is really something.

Doesn't sound like Laine will be out long which is good news. Ehelers and Statsny both had real nice games. Little upped his game when he got moved up which is good to see, for all the doom and gloom prognostications he just hit 40 points in a down year.

Poor Perrault, played well and had his chances that he just can't bury right now. Armia, Copp, Lowry and Tanev with excellent nights.

As an aside our PK tonight was the best I have seen this season, they gave LA nothing. Our PP however leaved a lot to be desired.

I do agree... more Kyle Connor. Where's that Roslovic guy? I'd guess he pulls back in next game eh?

Tanev earned his spot tonight.

Since we now pretty much know Little is injured I don't understand why he is playing.

Glad we won , another shity injury , i blame Sip because he was nowhere to be seen on the GDT . :sarcasm: I think Sheif and Buff are still not 100% healthy either , neither one was looking to shoot all night just pass . Man Doughty is a goof , nice dive to get a penalty and nice attempt to hit Lowry  I've replayed that 6 times and it gets more comical every time .

Why is Avgard blaming Mo for Patty's injury?

How does this Kings team qualify for postseason? Seriously they have like 4 players. Jets totally buried them out there. I liked young Eric in the net even if he didn't really get tested.

What can you say about KC? Better to sing about him.

Except you Pate. Don't be shaking your booty.
