Pure domination. Started well enough and only got better each period. Speed, hard on pucks, relentless forcheck. Kings couldn't even get over the red line by the second half of the third. Glad they found a way to win it for Comrie. His only mistake was a sloppily handled 2 on 1 that he had no chance on.

Now we wait for the Laine news and hope for the best. We can succeed without him but it is a hell of a lot more fun with him that is for sure.

I propose we score one more win next game and forfeit the rest of the games of the season and settle for a wildcard spot and fully healthy lineup instead of having to match up Chase De Leo with Eric Stall in game one.

Nice win. I think the Jets and Kings are teams going in very different directions. I sure hope we all get some good news re Pate and get Troubs back soon too. I think this team can get through Rd 1 without them and then its trouble. With them ? They can roll all these teams. Even the darling Preds.
