There's quite a few solid coaches out there right now .. Berube, Evason, Gallant, Woodcroft.. I think Quennville is hogtied due to the scandal in Chi - not sure his status. You give them a contract for this season and see what they can do then reassess in the off season.. my guess is AEG wouldnt even allow a long term contract.

Berube and Gallant I'd definitely look into. Both have been to the Stanley Cup finals and Chief actually won it. With our luck we'll get Sturm.

I know they won’t do it, but boy it’d be great to see them offload everyone not named Byfield, Clarke, Spence, and a couple of other depth youngsters (AK and the group) and just do it for real. Take your lumps for real instead of pretending you aren’t. Grow a new identity and create a new era.

So where are we at on firing the coach?

Yes, there are a few holes in this team, but there’s no way this team should be losing eight straight games.

The decision to bench Kaliyev after his strongest stretch games of the season is just ridiculous.

His overtime deployment have been horrendous

He cant match up with other teams during the games.

It looks like his system has been figured out and teams have worked around the 1-3-1.

Team is finding ways to lose instead of ways to win

Todd is just a bad coach. He plays favorites for one. PLD is the worse player on the team. Does absolutely nothing and Todd keeps playing him and sits players that are contributing, it is one major sign of how bad he is. Second Kings talk alot about the great prospects they have, yet they are in Ontario wasting away, never have been given a decent shot at making the Kings line up. Thirdly how Luc and Blake can be ok with what Todd is doing shows how incompetent they are. This organiztion is just a very big mess. No one at the top knows what they are doing.
