Worried about them having a down-game after being fired up to beat the Flyers for Richards and Carter. Fingers crossed. Go Kings!
 
Hopefully they aren't too exhausted after the game last night. And are the Caps really using Jay Beagle as their first line center right now?

It was that way when they came to Staples. I was like thanks for providing an anchor for Ovy!

Worried about a letdown game after the emotions of last night and a win vs. them last week, but would be nice to win back-to-backs and have the third game in four nights be just a chance for bonus points. GKG!

Yes... yes we are. Backstrom and Ovie have looked awful together at ES, Grabovski has been injured for the last 20, Oates refuses to play Marcus Johansson at his natural and drafted C position, and George McPhee traded Mathieu Perreault to the Ducks for a used puck bag this offseason so we could let Tom Wilson play 7 minutes/night (luckily he's up to 9 minutes/night now). So we are left with Jay Beagle as 1C, Nicky B as 2C, Eric Fehr (who is a winger) at 3C, and TDL pick-up/AHL call-up Chris Brown as 4C. Good times in D.C.

Thank you for winning last night -- glad to see that abysmal call on Martinez didn't screw you guys. Please tell your boys to take the night off tonight and check out the monuments as a reward.

We hope so, but no indication yet
 
It's impressive how many minors the kings have considering how low their total PIM's are compared to the rest of that five.
