Arvidsson is 5’10, and Kuzmenko is 5’11.
That one inch makes a big difference.

Vital stats- players weights, heights etc are the biggest bunch of bs of all sports stats.Arvidsson is 5’10, and Kuzmenko is 5’11.

Me, and I stand by it.Who said Kopi doesn't provide leadership?
I know you are trying to be 'edgy' and all....but that's just a ridiculously ignorant statement.Me, and I stand by it.
That’s what my partner said….That one inch makes a big difference.
There is no way arvidsson is 5’10. They probably measured him while he was wearing stilts.Arvidsson is 5’10, and Kuzmenko is 5’11.
That one inch makes a big difference.

Are you sure? Option A comes with a free toaster. And yet, everyone in the league, believes/says different.....let me think on this,
On one hand, we have you (and others) internet posters, who presumably aren't at team functions, practices, locker rooms, but watch from the seats or TVs and are fully invested.....who think Kopitar provides no leadership
On the other hand, we have teammates, opposing players, opposing coaches, opposing staff, who interact with him in the lockeroom, on the ice, in team functions, saying he does...
This a tough one.....but, think I'm gonna go with option B on this one....
Its really baffling how people can say he is a terrible skater. When I watched him in Vancouver, he was not slow.Maybe it's the highlight-video effect, but he doesn't look like a terrible skater. The stats say he doesn't have high-end burst speed, but that's not the same at all. His puck-handling looks high-end as does his wrist shot. Lots of scoring from the goal-mouth and slot.
I think the people saying that only watch highlights of McDavid and Matthews and play video games. Its really baffling how people can say he is a terrible skater. When I watched him in Vancouver, he was not slow.

There isn't a player on this team that seems to make decisions and execute plays faster than Kuzmenko.
So... he's Toad from Mario Kart? He’s not fast in straight-line speed (see his NHL Edge tracking data below) but he has exceptional edge work and has quick acceleration over short distances.

The KuzMONSTER's issue isn't skating.
It's consistency / keeping the magic going from one year to the next.
There's a clear pattern with Kuzmenko. He joins a team, he lights it up, then the following season comes around and he looks like a completely different player and struggles to get his production going again.
Kuzmenko needs to find a way to break out of this cycle.
Would absolutely love if he's able to do that with the Kings. He has the skill to be a 30 goal, 60+ point player in this league.

My first hockey coach told me that no one can outskate the puck. Moving it out of the zone quickly is more valuable than being fast on your feet. You don't need to be a fast skater if you can think and act fast, which is why his top-end speed is a non-issue.
Yup. I like to say the only thing faster than the puck is the brain, but similar sentiment. My first hockey coach told me that no one can outskate the puck. Moving it out of the zone quickly is more valuable than being fast on your feet.
