Kingdom Come; Deliverance

Are people really dense enough to believe that there weren't some medieval dudes barebacking each other behind the shed? This is a medieval sim- if you want your character to be a lowkey homosexual- more power to you. It's not like homosexuality is just a modern-day concept.

Part of me thinks this is just social media outrage created by some low lives with a ton of followers. The same dudes who shit on women because they can't get laid. The masses in the real world (left and right) who aren't chronically online probably don't give a shit.
I completely agree.

Same outrage about Bud Light using a trans person in an ad a few years ago. Do the chuds think that trans people don't drink beer or drive giant trucks like they do? The things that people waste energy on is astounding.

I was a bit overwhelmed opening up the second map a few weeks ago, not going to lie. I ended up taking a break and got back into it late last week. What a freaking game! I think the quests in & around Kuttenberg are even better than Trosky, as hard as that is to believe.

Ive been trying to get into the first KCD and so far i just cant. Its incredibly slow, add in the fact i gotta wonder around just to find the person for the next quest it gets a little annoying. I get it add exploration to the game and what not but maybe im just not in the mood.

Wait. Does the map switch to the 2nd one after the wedding? I still haven't found Mutt yet. I was so gung-ho about getting into the wedding because I though I may run out of time that I started neglecting some side quests. Really hope I can still do those quests.

IIRC you get a message before you get to a point where you'll be on rails, so to speak, for a while. You can travel back & forth between the maps for 200 grochen each way, once you get to the second map.

I'd get Mutt ASAP, but I did that anyway.

I don't remember exactly, it's close to the wedding, but I think you have the opportunity to free roam after the wedding. Just keep an eye out for that message.

You should have found Mutt right around the "undertaker" part or the drunk guy at the pond.

I'm no expert though, I'm just watching The Mighty Jingles playthrough. I swear my body auto wakes up at 6am to see if he's posted another video.

The story seems fine but I feel like when I'm watching, this game could have been made 20 years ago...so GOTY? I doubt it

Hmm....i like the graphics. Im not much of a gamer, though, so cant say if it's game of the year quality. It's a really fun game, though, but it's not for everyone.

The older I've become, the less I play competitive online games, and have moved more to these slower paced, story driven games. For me, it's the way the character can interact and influence the world around him that draws me in. Havent really played a game so indepth in those areas. Cyber Punk was close, but for whatever reason- just got boring, which is odd, because I would've thought doing blacksmithing or other 'chores' would be boring, but for whatever reason, it brings a state of peace to me. Maybe Im just a 36 year old grandpa now, haha.

Yup. Shouldve done that early on, but with how indepth thise world is- I honestly thought I would've missed the wedding had I not progressed with the blacksmith, haha.

IIRC there's 3 different ways to get into the wedding. Blacksmith, the girl at the brothel and some other one I'm forgetting. You could have completed all 3 quests and then choose one to progress the story to the wedding

The best world building makes it mostly obvious but, if you take too long, the end of the quest changes, and then you run into it again later. They've done that very well so far, from what I've seen.

I'm loving the game but am I the only one that feels that the save system is a little bit too harsh? I like to explore, especially early on, but constantly getting my a$$ kicked by wolves and bandits and having to start over from where I was 30 minutes earlier is discouraging me from exploring. It's almost like the game just wants me to stick to the main quest. Again, love the combat, don't mind getting my butt handed to me but the limited saves is wearing on my patience.
