I actually don’t mind a Calgary win with a Vancouver drubbing.

Make Allvin and Rutherford do something stupid while Calgary gets a mid round nothing first rounder.
Calgary winning is hilarious. They can’t even tank properly. Organizationally this finishing around the bubble has to be worst case scenario and that’s exactly what they will do.

I know the media who don’t have Leon even ranked in the top five for Hart voting won’t have even watched our game tonight, or any of the games we have played without Connor, which is a shame, as then the silly narrative that he is nothing without Connor would finally end.
It should have ended when he won the Hart Trophy. That Toronto media is so toxic and not just in sports.

Yeah. Kostin hasn't found his game though this season. KK seems really to not like this sort of thing. Not sure if you caught it but he dug into Perry at one point yelling at him to get off the ice. I didn't like that from KK because Perry was really orchestrating and getting in Nucks heads. But KK wanted to cool it down. Kk really doesn't like the juices flowing too much. He's the kind of coach that prefers the composure. I thought Perry did well. Let the boys play in a game like this. Oilers earned the right for a lb of flesh in this one and the fans were all for it.
Is that what you think KK was yelling at? When the cam cut to him, I was surprised seeing him screaming. I thought maybe he was giving it to the ref and asking how is that just a roughing call. Dropping the gloves and taking three swings. I’d be disappointed if he was giving it to Perry who played his role perfectly tonight.

I think he was yelling at the ref because they told him he had to get off the ice.

Was hilarious when Perry was having his way with Hughes, and Petey made a weak attempt to try and break it up, Rico barely grabbed him, and Petey just wilted, just watching his captain take abuse.

Even funnier - reading Canucks fans all mad about how you can't just wrestle guys down to the ice. 😂

Meanwhile Perry literally got a penalty, and like... Did they not pay attention for the last week? 😂

I hope you're wrong on this one, Perry was a beast tonight and that should be nothing but encouraged.

If thats only a 2 minute penalty, I wish we could go back in time and have Perry return the favour to Hughes.

They’re playing just consistent enough with Vancouver and St. Louis playing just shitty enough for the Flames to be a WC team. With our luck, Edmonton will finish first in the division with Vegas getting Calgary in round 1 and bitch slapping them right out of the playoffs while the Oilers draw LA again and it’s another war of a series.
