Beautiful game by the Oil tonight. Disciplined, moving puck smartly, with authority. breakouts composed, efficient. Offensively making lots of good plays on the puck. Nice to see Henrique and Kapanen get rewarded as well. Get as many guys going. J Skinner could've used a break out there. Feel like he had a lot of chances.

Was a statement game from Nuge and Nurse as well. They both were around this one and savvy good play from both. Nurse is looking dead sexy skating puck around.

Games like tonight remind me how good this team's ceiling is- not just Mcdavid being out, but it seems like they cruise through the regular season going like 70%. When they have to up the intensity, they take care of business easily like tonight.

I liked that the Oilers had a physical edge out there tonight on the boards and in puck battles. Team wanted to punish Nucks on scoreboard and everywhere. Nucks really have no answer to this kind of play from us and it was the most physical we've played them in awhile. D stepping up, forwards hounding pucks on forecheck. Effort was all in.
