Dollar for Dollar Sherwood is likely the best signing of the offseason. Lankinen might be a close second.

Career waiver wire player, sure, but I don't think eye test matches your assessment. This isn't a player that's just gotten hot on a good team, because he's single handedly won us games this year. Eye test alone, he's very skilled, a strong skater and has the IQ to be a strong middle six forward. I'm not convinced his playstyle matched that of the Preds enough to give him a chance to prove that, and I think he's following a similar trajectory to Blake Coleman.
