If your team is bad or out of the playoffs at least this is more likely. Patrick Kane is -18. Tavares is -7 on a very good team. The only guy that really defied that was Miller but I think his year was an anomaly not the norm point wise for himI mean you gotta admit, as much as +/- is a bullshit stat, it's pretty disconcerting to scroll down the NHL top 50 scorers list and see the majority of the players on it are above plus 10, many above plus 20...and only a small handful are below zero...two of which are Conner at -4 and Chef at -17.
