KFC and the race to 50 goals

DO you think Kyle Connor will score 50 goals this season?

I mean you gotta admit, as much as +/- is a bullshit stat, it's pretty disconcerting to scroll down the NHL top 50 scorers list and see the majority of the players on it are above plus 10, many above plus 20...and only a small handful are below zero...two of which are Conner at -4 and Chef at -17.
If your team is bad or out of the playoffs at least this is more likely. Patrick Kane is -18. Tavares is -7 on a very good team. The only guy that really defied that was Miller but I think his year was an anomaly not the norm point wise for him

Try telling that to Canuck fans on the main board

Sure, but then the question becomes "why is your team out of the playoffs?" Could the answer be because the guys scoring your goals aren't doing anything to help prevent the other team from scoring goals against you? But as I said, it's not a particularly meaningful stat...it's just something that kinda looks hinky when you scroll down that list of big guns...

Career are for the season? See that it's for the season. The team really needs to do a better job pairing him up with guys good at D. You and @nobody imp0rtant are right. The guy is a bum, I wonder if anybody would give us anything for him, with that plus minus maybe a bag of pucks :sarcasm:
