Seattle, Montreal, Nashville, and Columbus all made moves to improve. The owner flew to Montreal admid "another" historic loosing streak under his guidance and said the solution is in the room. The gm did (or was told) to do nothing. He told the last press scrum who was holding him accountable they were setting him up. He's disappeared into hiding again since.

No serious players (or agents will not allow them) to come here. The owner is said to not like being embarrassed but blames everyone but himself for that embarrassment.

The organization from top down is in denial.

The only way to change is not go go to home games, not buying merchandise, and continuing to put the vise on the owner and his cronies until he see's the way of his sins or sells to the Jacobs one day or one of his kids sees the light when they take it over.

The fans do not deserve this.

It makes you wonder how delusional the owner and Adams are when they think flying to Montreal and giving a speech is going to be some magical moment.

i mean by agreeing to fire people to get this job, Adams is really playing next level chess

Who axes the ax man? Terry is going to have to do it himself and I think he’d rather give away Super Bowl tickets at bills games with the NFL commissioner than deal with the Sabres right now.

Win or lose there is at least a two week break for the bills after Sunday. Maybe terry gets around to it then.

Its pretty rare for a GM to be fired in season so I don't expect it.

I think its April/May after that we got him for another year.

I agree and it would be a big celebration if he was fired right now. I am just trying to temper my hopes and expectations.

Maybe in February when there are few games and a two week break. But this guy just shouldn't be the Buffalo Sabres GM next season, he's not even under contract.

I don’t think the Sabres finish high enough to take Martone but Adams needs to address center (again). Miss or Hagens, all good with either one.

He probably cares more about the NFL than his own NHL team, a great GM who embarrassed himself at a press conference and then stuck his tongue up his ass and did nothing when his team was last in the conference and fighting for a top 3 pick in the draft.

I’m worried Adams bought himself time with Ruff. The argument he makes to Pegula is…

Ruff can fix it but it will take this season to do so. Then next season we’ll see the fruits of that “fixing”.

I hope I’m wrong but that’s where my head is at. It’s as plausible an explanation as any for nothing happening to address the GM or coaching situations.

I think he’s more likely to get an extension than get fired. There is zero indication that his seat is the slightest bit hot
