Worst most inept front office in the league. Terry pegula should be ashamed. The stooge thinks they have something here.
Why should players and fans care if the owner and GM doesn't care?

Pegula and Adams are trash tier "leaders" on top of having terrible hockey minds.

If you don't care about your own team it's time to sell.

I don't think it'll matter.

If that 13 game losing streak.....during which we looked incompetent half the games.....wasn't enough, I honestly don't know what is.

I think the only way Terry even thinks about a change is if Sabres fans quite literally stop buying tickets and merchandise......but I honestly don't think the fanbase is capable of that.
Yup. There's no light at the end of the tunnel unless it gets embarrassingly bad, and a 13 game losing streak ain't embarassing in Buffalo land. We need to hit a 20 game skid.

I'm officially in boycotting mode. I stopped watching games a while ago, but I won't be watching any games or going to any game while Adams is at the helm. I should just boycott until Pegula sells the team. This ship is so far from the coast (it's much deeper than player personnel), and I have zero faith Pegula would even higher a competent coach/GM duo.

Let’s be clear here: while Adams is a problem and needs to be dealt with, in the end, he is more of a symptom. He should have never been hired with his background. Until ownership changes how they approach hiring a front office, this is just going to be a shit cycle unless they get super lucky like they did with Beane/McDermott

Well before that he at least hired guys with front office experience, even if they didn't have GM experience. It's weird that after Murray and Botterill he didn't think to hire an experienced GM, instead he hired an idiot with no AGM experience.

Here’s the other thing: the more success the Bills experience, the more insulated Tpegs the Boca Hockey Ass Clown becomes from serious media criticism.

Need to get fire Adams trending.

If there is ever a billboard it should be on the way to The Ralph.

Have a fly by banner over an NFL playoff game to fire Kevyn Adams.

Hire a half dozen billboard trucks to drive around the stadium before/during the wild card.

Terry and McBeane like to keep the Bills insulated from the Sabres. The best way to get Adams out the door is to start having the disgrace of the Sabres enter into the conversations in OP.

Load up on fire Adams signs around the stadium.

Start burning Kevyn Adams stand ups and Sabres jerseys at your tailgates.

Ask McBeane regularly about Adams comments about not wanting to come here.

Anytime we extend or lose a player on the Bills reference what a big deal it is because of taxes and palm trees.

Don’t let Terry Pegula silo his orgs. Make sure that one is publicly aware of the other. If Terry wont do it on his own, the media needs to make McBeane tell him that Adams needs to go. Make a mockery of Pegulas NHL team while everybody is watching his NFL team. This is the only way.

I doubt any experienced GMs would agree to work for the Pegula under their effective, efficient, economic model even if they asked. Adams wormtongued his way into the job and happily agreed to fire everyone in exchange for something he’d never get any other way.

Well, these guys don't work for free and there aren't many vacancies. I think some experienced GM would agree, plus it was five years ago.

It's still just absurd that NO changes have been made.

Any other hockey team would be getting absolutely dragged in the sports media, nationally and locally for doing nothing with an imploding team.
f***ing crickets because everybody just expects so little of Terry Pegula at this point.
There were reports that he was saying racist shit on the reg and no one gave a shit either. Billionaires are untouchable and immune to any criticism.

Maybe. I was talking about why they didn’t go to an experienced GM five years ago after firing Botterill. If Pegula agreed to let an experienced GM come in and clean house and rebuild the organization in their image and not the Pegula’s maybe one would agree.

Unless Terry was recently visited by three ghosts who scared him straight though I don’t know that he would be interested in changing how he runs the team.

Maybe this is the wrong thread for this but what I worry about is that Pegula has a nihilistic view of hockey in Buffalo now. He invested in the arena in the harbor center to turn Buffalo into a destination for hockey players and thinks that because it’s not there’s no point in spending more money on the team because nothing can change. Which is why he has his yes-man keeping costs down and running lean. I think Pegula doesn’t have the awareness to see that Adams or himself are the problem and thinks this is what NHL hockey in Buffalo has to be.

Because Pegula thought he had found his McDermott for the Sabres with Ralph Krueger. So much so that he set up the same management structure the Bills have. Where Krueger answered directly to Pegula and not Adams. Who was essentially Krueger’s right hand man like Beane is to McD. This was the awful “flat management” structure Pegula was so proud to announce.

I sometimes wonder if Pegula actually thinks the management structure the Bills have is why they succeed. As opposed to the skill/ability of McD/Beane. Because he was quite pleased with himself when he announced that management structure for the Sabres.

I hear what you’re saying to an extent but the last thing the Bills need is for the Sabres drama to bleed into their organization.

That was false but here you are repeating it because it suits your agenda. People need to inform themselves and not he lazy just because they want something to be true

And was investigated by league and found to be false.

The person making the claim heard it from someone else.

It was denied, not found false

The lawsuit ended in a settlement.

The lawsuit wasn't about what Pegula or Jones supposedly said.. it was just cited in the lawsuit. The settlement was nothing more than a donation to a scholarship for black students. What I was referring to was the investigation that was conducted where everyone at the dinner where this was supposedly said denied that Pegula ever said this.

It wasn’t “found to be false,” they just weren’t able to verify it independently, which isn’t a surprise at all since they were incentivized to not find anything.

The guests and friends of the billionaire were never going to tattle on him. The idea that you’re defending this billionaire who is clearly racist is funny.

To me, the hiring of Adams is a reflection what the Pegulas think of NHL GMs. Its an easy job and anyone with a decent amount of aptitude can do it.

Why would you hire someone with no experience if you felt it was a challenging and critical job?

As I posted earlier, the only hope this franchise has is for either:

A) A change in ownership (likely not happening)
B) A change in how ownership hires and interacts with management
C)Blindly Striking gold with a 1st time GM like he did with Beane in Buffalo.

To me, the most likely cause of change may simply be him letting one of his kids have a bigger voice. That doesn't mean better, mind you, but it would at least be different.
