Black and white conversation about talent. Simply stating talented players in a vacuum.
Sometimes talent alone is not enough, there are many players who have no talent, but they worked hard and deserved a place under the sun in this league, there are also many players who with their talent became busts or just average players, not every talent develops as it should.

No arguments here.

I wish Pegula would just come out and say that Adams is his little puppet so he wont get fired.

At least then we dont have to have our hopes up.

What do you mean was? He is the GM.

He will never be fired because that means Pegula is firing himself.
Well, Terry is not young anymore either, it would be good if his daughter took over the team and Terry got out of the way.

Take another 5 years little Kev.

At this point I just hope he sells the team.

Todays SabreMetrix podcast hit on the main problem with the presser right off the bat…better than I’ve hear anyone else say it.

The press conference was pretty much what you expected…the same lines and excuses we always hear. But. The most optimistic you could have been about the presser would have been hearing an update from Adams on his plans to get out of this…and instead he came across as a guy who was flat out telling you he didn’t think he could do it.

That is exactly what it was. And why his continued employment past walking away from the mic has been a disaster openly mocked in his own arena. He needed to address the lack of improvement in five years. Instead he said he wouldn’t deviate from a failed plan…but also that he couldn’t if he wanted to because no one will come here anyway.

I see the Saudi's got the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Adams clearly wants a ticket under the palms.
your on a roll today my friend!

You guys/gals/non binaries might like to know Palm Tree's (real and inflated) have been banned from the arena now per bulldog on wgr (who mentioned you will have to smuggle them in and risk them being confiscated).

I am beginning to think that Adams is GM for life.

He seems to have no concern or urgency over the current roster.
TBF neither Murray nor Botterill made any moves their last year in the job either. All people want to remember about Murray is that he was mr trades a lot and couldn’t be stopped. Meanwhile…he did literally nothing his final year as the team failed.

Now what could all three of these GMs not being active as the heat is turned all the way up and they desperately need to do some work have in common?

Maybe nothing.

Maybe the same thing wrong with everything for 14 years and counting.

PDOcast weighed in with a much more measured thought as you’d imagine. They brought up that Reinhart clearly wanted to stay long term when they threw him another one year deal and after that who could blame him for just wanting to be valued somewhere. Also, like every single analyst points out, no player under 27 can block you so throwing your hands up and saying you can’t do anything is a cop out. They were more sympathetic to Adams on the surface but any discussion leads to…you know…you haven’t done enoguh, right?

I saw 2 palm trees confiscated as well as a paper bag that someone in a tropical shirt was using as a mask

There were more rangers fans than sabres fans. It's really depressing there
Of course they're more upset about the palm trees than they are the team.

f*** em.

Empty the f***ing building completely. Stand outside with the palm trees.

Good maybe the league will intervene and save this shitshow of a franchise. I think my fandom will die this year, have a good life everyone
