I'm not a Vancouver fan but you have a giant hole at 2C and the goaltending situation has cost you guys a few times in the playoffs, you're filling in some massive holes, probably long term.

Why would Vancouver give you those pieces for spare parts?

You know, I think in the case of Demko, you're probably not far off because of the recent injuries, it likely has hurt the value a bit, he has name value so it's likely a 1st or 2nd + something which could be Kotchetkov but Carolina might want to keep him in case Demko goes down again with an injury.

Andersen at this point is not reliable.

For JT Miller though - he's a big part of that roster, I maintain Nikishin would need to be apart of the deal, I actually like his fit for Carolina too.
