I did not enjoy watching with the Ducks. Bieksa-esque.

However, by all accounts he seemed like a really nice guy, and for sure a good locker room presence.

Congrats, glad he got his cup!

He was only 6’0”? Seemed taller out there. Averaging more than 0.5 ppg over almost 1000 games as a D means you were pretty damn effective.

Congrats to Kevin and all the best in retirement. Heck of a classy announcement, addressing each team he played for. From all accounts he was a well respected pro around the league. Glad to see a guy like that retire with a ring.

Shatty spent some years as a whipping boy here in STL, but he was always a great #2 behind Petro and QB’d the powerplay for many years. Hell of a career Shatty.

Yep, was a great fit in that role and they made a perfectly matched 1-2 punch on the right side

will however never forget how many people tried to say Shatty was the better of the two based on some random advanced metrics lol

He was really holding out to get an opportunity to get to 1000 games. Too bad he didnt get it thought he had a strong last season with Boston.

I remember when he was supposed to be traded for Drouin, which I'm glad didn't happen in the end even though I was really annoyed at the time.

However eventually he did end up scoring the series defining OT goal for us in the 2020 Cup finals.
