I really liked the player he turned into. We lived with a lot of his growing pains. Frustrating to see him leave as he was close to a refined product. He really put it all together the past two years. I hope he plays well for Winnipeg. If he was willing to come back as a UFA for 5 years/5.75 per I'd do it in a second. He will likely get more on the open market though.

It would be very wrong of me not to officially thank Kevin for his services and being the "right" Hayes to play on the Rangers.

Ditto on him returning. If its a HUGE difference in $$$ elsewhere, I don't blame him (per sé), but if it isn't......come on down......you're the next contestant, in the "price is right".

Really don't see him staying in Winnipeg. I woulgd bet Calgary and Boston would be frontrunners. They played their cards well, kicking back and smoking a doobie, (saving P&P's) and choosing to do such in off season.
