Buffalo needs RHD.

Both are unproven enough that they don’t have any trade restrictions so that isn’t an issue.

Both have players above them on their side that they likely won’t be top-4 in the next couple seasons.

Pieces Buffalo could offer (either as part of a bigger deal or straight up, looking for what Vegas/Utah fans need) include but not limited to:
-Quinn
-Samuelsson
-Byram
-9th OA
-Prospects preferably not named Kulich Ostlund Wahlberg Helenius.

Whitecloud could be had with Korzcak needing a spot on the right side. It's just going to be a matter of do they want his cost certainty or do they want to trade Hague instead and move Theodore to the left.

Ideally we'd get back an NHL ready young top 9 wing. Maybe Quinn? If not probably something like 2 2nds for trade ammo.

I believe Quinn for Whitecloud is pretty fair and as a Sabre fan would do this to add a veteran RHD to the squad

The only issue with Quinn (for Vegas) is that he needs a new contract. The "good" news is that he cost himself a literal ton of money by having a craptastic year......but he's still likely to get 1-1.5M on a bridge deal, IMO. So that would negate a bit of cap savings for you guys.

I wonder if you'd actually be better off with something like Rosen and a pick (the Wild's 4th this year?). Rosen is still on his ELC next year and is pretty much NHL-ready.

Just a thought.
