GDT: Kent Hughes Mid-Season Presser (11:30AM ET)

Good question
Our great PK tandem are UFA

But Kent dodges it a bit with the we don't talk about negotiations lol
But his facial expression and body language was clear, our PK unit will not all go UFA.

I expect an Evans signature for sure.

About more young players coming in the next 1-2 years.

He doesn't want to flood the lineup with young players but at the same time if another Lane Hutson comes along they will not hold anybody back.

They have studied the Vatrano deal and they are open to those options. Anything that benefits the player and the team they are open to.

Yes, Evans is getting signed 100%, there's just not a single doubt about that

It's just curious what they do with Armia
I only want to keep him if 1 of Gallagher or Anderson are shipped off finally

Yeap.

Judging from his body language and facial expression today when asked directly about the PK tandem, I would be surprised if Armia and Evans are not resigned.

The hole in the lineup will be #3C (dvorak), depth D (Savard) and perhaps a winger if we get rid of Anderson or gallagher.

He was asked about him and he said that he can be better and he knows it. Kent also said that he said last year that Slaf's development won't be linear and that he will still have highs and lows.

so Kent Hughes is another one of the bastards who isn’t patient enough to accept Slaf is only a sweet baby boy 20 year old child who shouldn’t ever be criticized for his performance ever
