Any other player in the League and the Refs give a Penalty.

There is no doubt, McDavid is the most screwed over player by the Refs in the League, probably in NHL history. They will NOT give this guy calls. Doesn't matter if he's slew footed, hooked, held, tripped, interfered with.

This generations best defenceman attacker, best play driver, and most targeted player should be drawing double the amount of calls he gets.

Homeboy plays in the softest era in NHL history.

That might be true. But it's all relative. Like era-adjusted points, you can't compare reffing standards today to the 80s or 90s. In this current era with the current reffing standard, he's getting royally screwed.

Kempe fined for actions in Kings game | NHL.com

Kings are practising their playoff strategy early.

I have no clue why the nhl is f***ing around with a fine on this. Send a message, give him some games- that’s such a ridiculously dangerous and easy dirty move to pull, now everyone knows you can do it to the other team’s star for a $2500 pop. That’s nothing, and if you break McD’a ankle or just frustrate him, that’s absolutely worth it at that price point. Basic morals stop most guys, but the nhl really incentivizes being a piece of shit.

L'Heariux (spelling), got 3 games just 2 weeks ago for a slewfoot. But just a 5K fine when it comes the Leagues best player I guess.

League is a complete joke.

Patrick Hornqvist got crosschecked, slashed and held every shift. Still didn't draw many powerplays. McDavid barely gets touched in comparison.

Net front battler Hornqvist? In an era where cross checks were pretty much legal league wide, especially at net front. Yeh that's not even close being the same thing.
