2 wouldv'e been ideal, but I'll take one. Hopefully this is a wake up call to the rest of the Hawks that their cheap shotting is being duly noted and needs to ****ing stop ASAP.

I'm in the minority here - I thought it didn't merit a suspension since it was clearly a mistake he instantly regretted.*

Also I want the Kings to beat the best team with all their best players.

*I realize the rulebook doesn't say anything about that.

Well, the other team isn't beating the Kings with their full ensemble, so screw sympathy for a team not having their best lineup. Let 'em face responsibility for their actions.

Their play has been gutless and dirty, trying to take our best guys out. Its ****ing despicable and I hope they can give them a taste and beat the living **** out of them physically and on the scoreboard....

I think Sutter feels the same way. During last nights post game he brought up teams targeting our centers, and how 3 have been injured or out of action in this years playoffs.

****ing Joke. Bouchard got illegal check to the head where the **** was it with Keith. I'm pissed one game for that and a repeat offender on that.

Shanahan married to Keith's sister or something what the **** is this????

What a joke. I would not condone this, but what Is stopping the Kings from dressing nolan and have him one hand high stick hossa in the face? It's only going to get 1 game, which he probably wouldn't dress for anyhow.

Well even Chicago fans feel the suspension was warranted. And when fans admit their own guy deserves a suspension then you know they feel he got off light. Nobody feels he thought I'm going to take my stick hit him in the face to knock out teeth. It was a careless use of his stick and if it was the regular season would have been at least 5 games. Bottom line is Carter is still able to play and that's good for the Kings, Hawks, and the NHL.

Swinging a stick as if it were a weapon at another player's head is worthy of more than a one game suspension. When it is a repeat offender swinging the stick, it is worthy of an even longer suspension. This should have been at least 3 games.

Has the NHL ever come out and said that a five game suspension in the regular season is equal to a one game suspension in the playoffs? If a player leaves the bench and joins a fight during the playoffs does that player only get a two game suspension? I haven't ever heard of that.
