He doesn't have to be involved in the day to day to make a difference.

If he holds people accountable, they'll hold their reports accountable.
I would think any Leader they've had held their reports accountable.

Reactions: Leaf Rocket
Hope he brings a top down bleed of no nonsense hard nosed hockey this team and city deserve…

The hall and oats vibe of Ronald McDonald should be over.

Real men. Hockey. Work.

No Dubas soy boy attitudes.
No fanboys

If Marner is crying over his next contract he should be traded.
He makes a Mickey Mouse play in the playoffs he needs to wear it.

A Stanley cup for this city will change things in a way management can’t even imagine.

A generation, soon to be 2 who think the leafs are a meme.

They flock to raptors instead. Basketball is boring. One man can be a team.

I loathe it. 6’9 athletes crying on contact.

Hockey needs a boost. Not only for Toronto.

Girly goal song is gone.
5’9 Ballerinas are gone.
Dubas estrogenic Billy beane impression is gone
Tre so far made this team tougher not even done 1 year than Dubas whole tenure here.
Let’s see if Keefe grew some hair on his b*lls.

Top down….

Estrogenic Billy Bean lol that's gold Jerry!

Super underwhelming. A Rogers cronie running the Leafs/TFC/Raptors. Seems like a great idea….

Everyone in Toronto sports media is saying this is a great. He is a good person and he knows his stuff. He is a sports guy and understands sports.

We need a sports guy. I think Shanny is as good as gone if we have a quick playoffs exit this spring.

Do we know what they get per playoffs game in 2023?

Forbes had regular season games a $2mm per game in 2013.

I've seen amounts up to $7mm per game, but not from a reputable source.
300 average ticket, plus boxes, plus 50-100 per person spend would get you in the 8-9 per range.

they could do a half mil to mil in merch easy on top of that.

They may get some kind of bonus rev for the tv/streaming.

playoff games matter to revenue for sure
