He would need to play 4 years in France. You probably can earn much more in Switzerland even if you're a backup somewhere.

As a Czech fan.. I'm consistently being told they are taking our spot. Don't get me wrong, it'd be tragic for them to face in relegation but a bit funny from an HF online perspective.lol

I don't think you hear that often from swiss fans and an inferiority complex would be premature as the last WHC GMG showed lol ;-)

Back when I started posting 8 years ago maybe there were a few more optimistic/enthusiastic fans around here and I occasionally got called out for being a negative nancy. Those posters either went away or started facing reality though.

Nowadays there are still some trying hard to see that glass half full instead of half empty but overall I think we're pretty much the most negative posters on this board. Maybe tied with the Slovaks who absolutely hate their federation and coaches, too.

Do I think we can beat Czechia in a single game? Absolutely. With a lot of luck we may even finish ahead of them in a tournament. Take their place though? No Swiss poster would even dream of that. Surely not until there's major change inside the SIHF. But even then it would probably take years to catch up to Czechia...which is the bigger country as well.
