Jagshemash! Me and my Brother Bilo are looking forward to this game-match!

But in all seriousness, if we can't beat Kazakhstan either then we should just fold and go down to tier 2 volontarily...
I guarantee you that Switzerland will not lose. You can easily run the score on them and win like 8-1.

Kazakhstan is no joke, but they have so many things working against them, progress for them as a nation is hard.

They might have done things at the U18 Worlds, but if their players keep playing in MHL or Kazakhstan, their progress gets stunted and they simply plateau at age 18 and 19.

And there's not a whole lot they can do with their geography. Barely anyone speaks English there as well.

They are one of the largest hockey loving nations on Earth. And I respect them for that. Lots of untapped potential.

Everything can happen in just one game. But with that Swiss team (which is on paper one of the better ones in recent years) you are just not allowed to loose against Kazakhstan in a game like this. Kazakhstan took Slovakia to overtime but they had about zero chance against the Czechs and Swedes.

Switzerland starting Kirsch. Neuenschwander Jr. back in the lineup as well and I agree with it. If you want to bring him to the tournament you might as well play him especially against lower tier nations, even if Wey might be slightly better.

Reber/Steiner on line four though. If the ice time of this line matches their place on the game sheet thats another head scratcher by Jenni. Because they are by far the two most skilled forwards on the roster and this is exactly the type of game where you want to levrage their skill...

Kimo Gruber rested?
If he's healthy that's certainly one of the more interesting ideas...even for Mickey Mouse coaching standards.
Apparently, I didn't even see it. Yes strange decision since he has been fairly good this tournament. Jenni kinda hates Gruber though low key, he even snubbed him from the Ivan Hlinka a couple of years ago when he was still considered the top forward of the class. Might be water under the bridge though and Grubers omission just another sign of Jennis coaching "genious".

This might become a closer game than I would like it to be. They really need to be careful with dumb penalties in this one. Kaderli already got away with boarding a player. Also keep it simple at D. No stupid of the board clearings by Muggli please...

The number of times the Kazakhs get caught for odd man rushes is staggering. Their d seem very used to playing 2 on 1's though and have done a pretty good job.
