Kaprizov's latest setback should be an alarm bell for how the NHL is failing its players

How does the league force teams to rest guys though? Is a team of neutral doctors going to evaluate every minor-moderate injury? Guys go thru the concussion protocol for head injuries. Guys all have reasons for playing hurt thru non-head injuries (help their team, playing for a contract, etc), it would be very hard for the league to dictate who's allowed to play thru what injuries.
A culture change would be useful.

Also, the concussion protocol is a joke. Guys are returning to play, finish the game, and then are out the next game with concussion.

Way to not comprehend a single thing I wrote. It is all over the internet that McAvoy separated his shoulder and received an injection as treatment (read it was Toradol) - hence why I specifically mentioned that he got a shot and that the shot was the likely cause of the infection.

But what did you take from all that? That I clearly don’t believe NHLers get shots for injury/pain treatment. Jesus man…
Go re-read the first paragraph of your post that I responded to. And I mean read what you wrote not what you think you wrote.

You tell me I’m being non-sensical???? Holy shit. ESL might be a good play for you.

Like it or not, it's on the players to protect themselves. That's why enforcers and fighting exists. That's why a tree like Logan Stanley who can barely skate has a job. Because he can crush smaller players. If you watch that play the reason he got "folded" is because he tried to reverse hit a player that was 100 pounds heavier than him.

We missed out on the last part of Brian Little's career in part due to a concussion suffered in a game against the wild. This is an inherently risky sport. Every time you get through a game with no injuries it's a win.

I’ll slow it down for you. You posted speculation from Friedman days after the knowledge of the injury and the treatment (which likely caused the infection) were all over the internet - and then came to inaccurate assessments about it.

That’s a brutally poor synopsis of what I said. Its another in a string of posts make no sense whatsoever.

I get it you want to argue. Generally I’d oblige but it’s too much effort to try and figure out what’s in your head.
