It's okay, we always lose to bottom feeder teams. We need to win all of the central matchups we can in the next month, it could be a rough ride near the end.

Disgraceful game from Scheifele. Lazy clearing leads to the 2nd goal. Lazy change Leafs to a crucial PP against. Just no excuses for his continued failure to work to prevent goals against.

For all the issues with the waiver wire D corps, Morrissey continued his bewilderingly bad season. He's playing in a fog, with absolutely no bite in his game. I am flummoxed by how poor his season has been.

Maybe they both need the full Sip treatment.

The team bleeds high danger chances against. Helle has not been the same since filling in for Broissant for a minute and giving up a goal. Great goaltending sure masks a lot of bad play.

I was watching about 45 mins behind and I just turned off the game after that second goal. What a shit play by Scheifele. The Jets somehow still managed to lose the xGoals battle in that one. The reality is that anything other than elite goaltending on the Jets side means that we are not winning a whole lot of games.

Everyone on the Scheifele line 1.57 xGoals Against. No other forward on the Jets was worse than 0.6 xGA.

Whenever one of Copp/Perreault gets healthy, put one of them on that top line and send Connor down to that 3rd line, it is clear that that top line is not capable of keeping things clean in their own end and handling their defensive assignments and now their GF% is starting to regress to reflect that.

No matter what Maurice may think Bitetto and Beaulieu may be good in the room for morale but they are not NHL d men, Sbisa is barely passable, and Poolman is playing way above where he should be playing, add to the fact something is going on in between Morrissey's ears means unfortunately Bucky needs to stand on his head night after night which is an impossibility.

And I hope everyone is preparing their apologies for Wheeler. The guy was written off here with posts like "Seattle wouldn't claim him even if we exposed him at the XD" (LOL!) .

But now that he is off that "top" line, that top line arguably looks worse (atleast defensively) whereas Wheeler's line is driving the bus with Wheeler player out of position putting up great counting and fancy stats while playing out of position and having an elite faceoff percentage. Fans now need to consider that Wheeler was not the problem with that line.

Shore has been a solid edition, the 4th line atleast looks like they belong playing in the NHL now.

Well it looks like Helle is coming back down to earth a bit and we couldn't solve their goalie. Connor should have had at least three tonight if he could have put those cross crease passes in.

Poolman had a nice goal but man he is dumb defensively at times. Gets caught not knowing if he should pinch or not resulting in a two on one on their first goal. He gets caught way over on the Left side of the ice leaving Kane wide open on his side of the ice on their fourth goal. We desperately need an upgrade there. His brain farts have been incredibly costly the last few weeks.

The lack of depth in our bottom 6 is going to hurt if Maurice can't trust them to play, it weigh our top 6 down.

I’m amazed you think that Maurice would demote anyone other than Laine off the top line.
