Blud is amazing, I'm so glad I was wrong on him when they drafted him. I expected him to be a #4, but it's safe to say he's a top pair D with #1 qualities, just like Hutson. Maybe through the power of friendship they can be the 1D that Matheson is.

Yes but then our future top DMen would be Hutson and...? Reinbacher is far from a sure thing ATM.

There are other ways to get a 2C that wouldn't leave such a gaping hole.

Not to mention Guhle should fetch us a first liner IMHO.

I was looking forward to last night to see which players would step up and have big games in what was essentially an elimination game. I expected Suzuki but to have Slafkovsky and Guhle have monster physical games bodes really well for our future. Youngest team ever to make the playoffs, that says something.

Whenever we are really going for it, Guhle will be a huge part of that and to have him come up huge like he did last night is amazing.

He's been top-10 for a good part of the season already tbh. Since coming back from injury in march, I'd even say he's been top 5
