That guy who threw his jersey on the ice a few nights ago should feel like an idiot now.
I spotted him at RealSports Apparel, paying for a Kadri jersey.

I for one think he deserves a pat on the back, I mean he lost his crutch when Gunnarson left, it was Gunnarson that was the reason why Phaneuf played so well right? Wasn't it? As silly as it sounds some people on here would have us believe that Gunnar propped up Dion and not the other way around...
Well if PK can win a Norris for being a one trick PP specialist I'm sure you can give Dion credit for his newfound PP specialist role. BTW in that season PK scored somewhere around 2/3rds of his points on the PP and look at Dion this year 2/3rds of his points are on the PP... well look at that... Dion is scoring at a Norris winner rate.
Cheers to Dion for stepping up ..![]()
Dion a legend in his and your mind!
Not so sure he's a legend but for the little fella to step up and fill the huge hole that was left when our #1 D man (you'll agree with that right?) left.... well that is character and that is stepping up.
Back to the Kadri comment, when did the players write the etiquette book for fans?
I keep hearing about how hockey is just a business....and it is. Well in business you gotta know the customer is always right.
Kadri should be disciplined for his comments, IMO. The guy throwing his jersey on the ice is actually helping to pay for Kadri's lavish lifestyle that most working stiffs can only dream of. I like him as a player but he seems like a little DB when he speaks at times.
Don't these guys have public relations guys to put these idiots in line? I never want to hear a player and or manager bad mouthing fans. Its much lower than a guy frustrated to pay and watch the effort the Leafs put in against the Pens, which was disgusting by the way.
Kadri needs to shut up the fanbase/media with his play on the ice and that goes for the rest of the team too.
Other than that, somebody needs to tell him to keep his yap shut.
So just for the record, you're saying that telling fans you don't need them doesn't show leadership qualities?![]()
"The customer is always right" is just a stupid cliche and, in the real world, people who act like ****** are denied service from businesses all the time.

I would bet that this fan is not allowed back into the arena based on his actions.
The Leafs have not come out and offered an apology, nor has Kadri been made to....Carlyle has responded by playing Kadri more then ever. The Leafs organization have no concerns for what he said and rightfully so.
Kadri also did not attack the "fans" he ripped on a idiot!

Well if you want the customers money, he is always right.
Yes Kadri is being played more because he told off a fan![]()
Like I said..shows DB qualities. MLSE as an organization should not stand for this nonsense...He should have been disciplined by the team. I don't like it. Its arrogant and not his place to make these comments.
A classier answer would have been something to the effect of...
"We can certainly empathize with their frustrations...all we can do is put this game behind us and try to play much better the next game. We have to show our extremely loyal fans, that we can compete and bring effort every night so that they can be proud of our team, win or lose."
For all we know, he could be having an internal talking-to. However, there's no way the Leafs discipline him publically. Kadri is incredibly valuable for the business he serves. It's not like he flips burgers at McDonald's. There, if someone gives the customer sass, they can be replaced easily. Not Kadri.
Although I'm pretty sure that an effective manager doesn't discipline his staff publically, no matter how valuable they are to the organization

You are correct.Even at McDonald's, if a customer wasn't happy with his meal and threw it on the ground in protest and an employee told him they didn't need customers like him. I doubt that employee would be fired or reprimanded in any way.
