Kahkonen hasn’t been very good as a Jet or Moose, so I like the move. Hopefully we don’t need our 3rd goaltender the rest of the way and in the playoffs.

Kahkonen ...In 22 games with the Moose this season, the 28-year-old has a 6-14 record with a 3.29 goals-against average and a .885 save percentage.

Driedger... has made 20 appearances with the AHL's Charlotte Checkers and has a 10-6-4 record with a 2.97 GAA and .878 save percentage.
