Couldn’t find a PD-thread on him, and now that he just won AHL - Goalie Of The Year i think he deserves one.
Russo did speculate in one of his articles the past few weeks that he could be with the team if play resumes, wasn't certain, but "could be".Would he be healthy enough to play this summer if there is a playoff?
If Kahkonen is allowed to play then there's really no reason to even bring Dubnyk along. Let him stay home and worry by himself.Basically confirmed with today's announcement that teams will be able to carry "unlimited" goalies. I would not be shocked if we see him start. In fact, I actively hope we do. He should get the start against Vancouver.
He was in piss poor shape during the season I can only imagine how much he's ballooned up during this quarantine. If Kahkonen is allowed to play then there's really no reason to even bring Dubnyk along. Let him stay home and worry by himself.

But he makes up for it by being very unathletic and refusing to take responsibility for anything. You mean to say that an already shaky goalie that doesn't want to be there isn't recipe for success?
I can't imagine a professional organization that has goalie struggles and potential to be in the playoffs didnt tell him to keep in shape and be ready to potentially be active for playoffs...He was in piss poor shape during the season I can only imagine how much he's ballooned up during this quarantine.
If the team has to tell the player to stay in shape, it's already over.I can't imagine a professional organization that has goalie struggles and potential to be in the playoffs didnt tell him to keep in shape and be ready to potentially be active for playoffs...
Edit: unless of course you meant dubnyk and even then my point remains.

To the Golden Corral?Maybe Dubnyk went on a soul searching adventure?
Does anyone positively know who decides the 1 or 2 years of an arbitration case ?
I have been told that team decides the years but I can't find / confirm it anywhere.
thanks for the help
This is correctI'm not 100% on this, but I think the party who didn't initate the arbitration process decides the length. So in this case, Wild decides the term.
