Odd no one signed him. He was actually pretty solid with his underlying numbers backing that up with his time in Seattle and would have been a decent 3rd pairing RHD.

Trading away a great player sucks but at least the Oilers got back what was considered a good package at the time. Schultz screwed the Ducks by stringing them along until the end so that they got nothing out of it. Completely different scenarios.
