Yeah Kasper is this years Edvinsson - assumed having him in the lineup would just be too stressful for the overripe crowd. We can cheer Watson fights for entertainment I guess.

Worse contracts get waived all the time, yeah Holl was a bad signing but needs to stop being viewed as some Rick Dipietro monster deal. Just today Engvall got waived with 6 years left as just one example.

I still don't care about that contract. I don't think it ever really hurt us, it's not really hurting us now, and if he's needed to fill in for injuries i think he'd be fine on the bottom pairing with some PK.

His own level of play flushed his career down the toilet, so I'd say the treatment was fairly appropriate.

Holl's career is what happens when you get a too big contract. If he had a contract he was worth, he would have been traded to somwone who needs him.
