(cap is about even, NYR keeps their deadline space)

To NJD: Boeser, Forbort
To VAN: Mercer, Tatar, '25 2nd (idk which one)
(NJD have cap to extend Boeser, but I assume no deal would be in place before this)

and maybe -

To CBJ: Demko, Hoglander
To VAN: Merzlikins, Sillinger, '25 1st (MIN)
(VAN goes with Lankinen as #1, Merzlikins as reclamation project)

Well, for us, losing Tage would be critical in this situation. I doubt that a deal for Miller is realistic, I'm not sure that he is a good fit for us and it is unlikely that he would agree to go to Buffalo with its NMC/NTC. But from the player's point of view, it would also be suitable, but from the character's point of view...

Like did a decision come down to Drury+2nd+4th and then we add Kotkaniemi for Miller, or we add Necas for Rantanen.

Yeah I don't like it much at all, but rumors say KK was involved in talks with the Canucks, and if Chytil, Lindgren, a conditional 1st for Miller with retention is another reasonably confirmed rumor then I'm not sure how great any of these deals are...

This is a team that Kept Tanner Franking Pearson at the deadline and gave him an extension yet they were eliminated from the playoffs.
