Unleash the Slafkovsky

We already know what kind of motor Suzuki and Caufield has, since we already saw thme in playoffs before (they are animals)
We'll see what Slaf truly have in him, but I'm optimistic
He's been playing like a true power forward since january, hitting everything that is moving, while also putting points

Who had the best sound quip of this season ?

COMMMENTCAVAMONREEEEEEEEEEEEEEAL

'Nyah' for me. I just pulled it on my GF who asked me to "Go to Wal Mart for her".

I noticed in the Carolina game that every time there was a play near the boards, the Hurricane players were bracing for hits when Slafkovsky was in the area.

They clearly had been given the information that he will be finishing every check, and hard. The "book" on Slaf has been re-written since the Four Nations break and he's earning a reputation now as a guy playing a heavy game and using his size to wear down his opponents.

What I find most promising about this development in his game is that he seems to really enjoy playing physically. It feels like he's having more fun playing the game since he's ramped up his physicality and his production has improved, too.

Cooley isn't Michkov, he's a 6' two-way C that plays with a lot of pace. This is just a lie that the Slaf-cope machine created lol.
Cooley plays pousse caca hockey like Michkov - don’t win with those types as your go to’s in the playoffs

At a press conference, Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery did not hide his admiration for the Habs first line, even going so far as to say that, in his opinion, they have been the best in the league since the Four Nations Tournament.

Washington Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery said today about the Habs top line of Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki, and Juraj Slafkovsky:

"Since the Four Nations Tournament, we consider them the best line in the NHL. They are extremely difficult to play against… (Lane Hutson) with that line, it’s one of the most dynamic groups in the entire league."

Slafkovsky is slowly earning the respect he deserves across the league.

So for all you Slaf haters out there, eat this... in your face !! This first line doesn't perform like it does without Slafkovsky strong forecheck, physical and agressive board play. He can win 1 on 1 battles and keep the puck for long sequences, extended period, creating openings, space and scoring chances for Suzuki and Caufield. It was so obivious in his last game vs Carolina and reflected very well his overall role and contribution on that line.
You haters don't even know how lucky the Habs are with this gem in their hands.
