He was a beast. Amazing passes, went to the inside, physically dominating, got a ton of pucks off the boards. He responded big time. Big game player.

Said it in the GDT against the Leafs but he's got to start moving his feet. He's not skilled enough (yet) to coast everywhere and look for finesse plays. He's 6 freaking 3 (4 maybe). He needs to start playing like it.

Cross the blue line and attack, don't stop up and look for Cole/Nick for 10 seconds every time. On the PP, take the puck down low and drive toward the net.

He did this tonight! He actually did it!

I've been wanting him to do it for like 45 games now but he actually did. He was feeling it tonight for sure.

Just said in the Demidov thread that they should just leave him on the 2nd. We badly need secondary scoring and he can provide it even with lesser players. The first line has been good all year long. Just leave it as is.

Slaf wasn’t drafted because he was going to rack up the most point(he might still do it), he was draft because he was going to be the most helpful piece to winning team. He just has to move is feet when he playing with higher pace he very impactful.

I'm very confident that he will be put great numbers. It's question of time and consistency. But yeah, he was drafted to be a unique powerforward for Suzuki and Caufield.

He have huge potential. He just need to play like that every game!!

The snippet of Slaf's postgame on youtube is such a great quote. Journo asks him about his game and how he had a big impact and Slaf just answers "I wanted to win so bad...". You really love to hear that coming from him.

That last Guhle quote about what this win means to him and this team was also a great one.

Everyone talks about Demidov and Hutson, but Slaf have all tools to become a very special player out there aswell. Only 21 years old. Big guy takes time, but he show great thing since last year.

Both 2nd half of season have been amazing for Slaf.

He have potential to produce much more. He can be a total beast two-way physical with 75-85 pts per year.

In the second half of the season, he has become a truly good power winger. I just hope he will start next season the same way as he is now. he could fetch 70 points + every season after that.
