It was Joe Sakic’s BBQ salesman! Is that from the same guy who sold Gaborik a BBQ in Vancouver many years ago?
Oh for sure. Just having some fun remembering some ancient lore from a long ways back.It could be i dont follow JT I am just sharing what I read. Could be true could be complete garbage.
How is Miller considered a hundred point center, when he's only done it once in a 14 year career?
Not saying he isn't good, but I'd think his career would have to be looked at, not just his best year.
Borgen has absolutely had a major impact. We replaced Trouba with an NHL player.Yea but the return of kakko was putrid I doubt borgen had a major impact on the turnaround my instincts saying its shesty being healthy and solid. They had a great asset that probably could have been used for miller but they dumped for it a nickel and a penny.
Ohhh… and Gaborik’s patio furniture? Lawn mower? The details are getting hazy as I age, though I remember the vibe.It was Joe Sakic’s BBQ salesman!
Yea I am aware Rangers are playing better, I was implying if their season falls off track again, however unlikely that probably is. The Canucks need the same, turn things around to make the situation less desperate. The only leverage they have is the option to trade Petey and the option of waiting for other factors to change, and waiting is the smart thing to do here. The season is probably already cooked, and that is entirely on the players at this point. Yeah they are unhappy, but it is their own doing, and management has showed them last season how aggressively they will reward good performances. The Rangers already did turn it around from when they allegedly made an offer for Miller. They aren't in as desperate of a situation to make a big shakeup as they were before.
Vancouver doesn't really hold any cards here. With every passing day it is getting more and more likely that the rumor of Miller only waiving for NY is actually true. That locker room is a dumpster fire right now.
I could be wrong but I believe it was Gaborik that was house shopping. He was more committed to coming here lol.Ohhh… and Gaborik’s patio furniture? Lawn mower? The details are getting hazy as I age, though I remember the vibe.
This very well might happen.I said this a couple of weeks ago.. why not just trade both JT and Pettersson? Pettersson still is highly regarded but just doesn’t seem like a guy to be a franchise player. He’s fallen off a cliff production wise. Canucks could get pretty good returns for both while sticking around a playoff spot. Both guys seem like they are being massive distractions for the rest of the team.
Actually a lot of our posters and beat writers say Borgen has played a big role in stabilizing the defense.Yea but the return of kakko was putrid I doubt borgen had a major impact on the turnaround my instincts saying its shesty being healthy and solid. They had a great asset that probably could have been used for miller but they dumped for it a nickel and a penny.
Only problem is Drury is a imbecile of a gm and still might get fleeced. Look at the kakko trade return horrendous.
1 for 2 not bad if you put that way.Look at the Trouba trade return, incredible

I mean... are they getting 2 top 6 centres back? What other moves would have to happen to accomplish this?I said this a couple of weeks ago.. why not just trade both JT and Pettersson? Apparently, he’s going to CAR…according to social media sleuths, JTM has stated following Raleigh home listing companies on his social accounts, as well as various Hurricanes players…
There you go…there’s no way social media sleuths can be wrong
people who think thats real are the type who send money when they get emails from nigerian princes
But now Colorado enters the fray potentially.Something tells me the odds of Carolina trading for Miller just dropped substantially
Yeah… looks like CAR did what they wanted to doDon't think he going to Carolina now.
Rangers an option but they've turned things around so they still interested?
Canucks should hope they turn it around and then do their moves in the off season
