That’s a very wide speculation brush you’re painting with there
The 1st part isn't directly about Miller. Its more about what hypothetical situation between coach/player that could result in a player being granted leave

It was so hilarious in here during the 2018 Jrs Scandal in here.

"Dillon Dube has requested a leave from the team"

"DON'T SPECULATE!!!"

stop speculating please.

the brass knows all about our rabid fanbase and coordinated with the press to release a deeper dive into the leave. no reason to do all that if its a domestic situation.

Why would the tone of the news release be the way it was then ? Why could you hear a pin drop at practice today as reported by the Canucks beat writer ?

All the Canucks said was that Miller was taking an indefinite leave, there's probably cap reasons to put them on leave instead of just healthy scratching a player for a week and not having them travel with the team.

As for the Canucks practice pin drop, they could just feel bad that their friend and team leader isn't with them anymore.

That's not all they said. It is more strongly worded than when Forbort's dad died

Miller is also not a feelings guy. Hes the opposite. Hes toughen the f up and move forward kind of guy.

I would be awfully awfully surprised if this is just him getting mentally overwhelmed about being benched and not being on his game.

Plus he had a solid start to the season. Its only been the last 3 games
