thats too bad, hope he comes back back o the player he was the last couple years. he hasnt been the same at all this season so far.

It would be fair to say that Miller has "looked off" for the whole year, with a lot of people speculating that he has been dealing with an injury. While Tocchet made it clear that Miller was not benched because of injury, it should also be made clear that JT has been "off" for a long time now. So no, the benching is not the cause. It might have been the culmination of the issue, which now sees him taking time off.

zero percent chance a player would be granted an indefinite leave because he butted heads with the coach imo
If something happened in the coaches office after the game, ie it got physical or a verbal argument that crossed lines. Maybe they decided it was best to give him leave.
Personally I hope its a coach/player issue and not something worse like addiction or mental health

I know nothing about them, but if this in reference to just that posted tweet, i doubt they knew he was about to go on a leave of abcense shortly after...

Correct not just for that, no. But it could be related.

Could have been a tipping point for Miller who mightbe been dealing with something else going on in his life, presumably.
