Still think he should be playing on the wing with Stu

Has the speed, face off ability to cover for him, two way game and most importantly, the shot to compliment Stu's skillset

Would really balance out the top 6 and allow Grieg to play his natural spot at center on the 3rd line

It's not his shoulder so whatever the hell it is don't matter. He will be well rested when he comes back for a nice playoff drive. If he's on the first line or second line it doesn't matter. He's putting pucks in the net.

Dude a workout freak. He probably needs to chill on that stuff and just be a hockey player. If you look a lot of the greatest hockey players, they're we're not most physical specimens. They trained hard in the off-season and we're in good physical shape but not obsessive to the point where they create injuries from over training. Dude's going to have to add some bulk and some lean muscle to his shoulders and upper body strength to avoid shoulder injuries during the regular season. I don't mean overtraying them. I just me put some cushion in there but some lean Mass muscle so he's got a little extra padding on those shoulders.

His contract might seem a little expensive, but if he keeps up at his scoring rate in a couple of years it'll look cheap. You will not be able to trade for a player with his same numbers. The only way you trade him is if you know he's one injury away from ending his career. If that's the case, the other teams know that also.

Like it or not, he's here to stay. Whether he plays with Timmy or Brady or whoever, he should be on a line with an additional center so he's not having to always run the face-offs. The dude can flat out shoot in the bumper position like he's Ovi.

You get rid of a player like Josh and you'll be spending a first round pick. Trying to replace a guy like him and they don't grow on trees. Make the best of the situation and we'll do fine.

Plus I would love to see Pinto as our 2C, especially since he looked great between Tkachuk and Batherson

Lose the games we have against DET (2) and CBJ (3) and our odds decrease dramatically. Our hopes are hinged 50% on an overall record down the stretch, 50% on those 5 games.
