HF Sens Debates: Is the Shoulder Mid-Body?
if it turns out to be shoulder it would be hilarious, the answer is enough to calm my nerves a bit
He’s out for a few weeks or out of the lineup for a few weeks. There’s a break coming up
im assuming its out for a few weeks. Probably back end of february. The sens are using the break to their advantage here. I feel like if it was a longer injury it would have been announced kind of like with jbd and cousins

I think injuries like this are just going to happen with him. He seems to be injury prone.

If we can just get some luck on our side that he does not get another shoulder injury then we are lucky. I don't care if he injures every other part of his body but this his shoulder.

It's kind of surprising that this guy is one of the best conditioned athletes in the room. However, he's consistently getting hurt with his shoulder and other injuries.

I am no athlete but I got to think that he probably could use to add some muscle to his body, especially around his shoulders.

If this is a groin or whatever type of injury, those are not very preventable injuries. All he can do is probably bulk up. It might slow him down a little bit but it also would slow down his injuries in the future.

No way we're ever going to get a trade for him and win a trade. We are better off taking a gamble on him and just hope that we get our monies worth it. He is in my mind an elite scorer when he's on top of his game. He loves the city and he loves his captain and I think he's a good fit on this team. What? Love someone who's healthier, I sure would but are they going to be able to put up the same numbers as Norris does?

You look at Vancouver and what happened with Miller and Patterson and just be happy we have a team where there's none or of that going on. If Josh had no injury issues, people be loving on him. He's questionably our third best forward.

The kid will not last long in this league. As soon as he gets back to the Norris we love an injury always happens without fail, which is why I still feel like he's someone we should be open to trading for the right player.

Glad that it might be a groin pull and not his shoulder.

The old saying that the best ability is availability seems to apply to Norris' constant injuries.

I think bracing himself was not a great description.

When he left the ice, he put both hands on and used both arms on the bench to lift him off the ice that 8-10 inches or so. Wouldn't be the kind of thing you would do with a shoulder injury and definitely not with the extent of the shoulder injuries he's had. I felt pretty confident as soon as I saw that.

I felt better thinking he only bruised his nuts as per Methot. I will take that or a pulled groin over shoulders. Dion Phewf!

Honestly to me it always looked like lower back. Could be ribs. The tight way he was moving after definitely looks like back though

Remember Chychrun being injured a lot before he joined our team? Even when he joined our team, he got injured at the end of the first season. The trainers told him to stop constantly working on conditioning and since then his injuries have been very little. It could be a case where Norris is overdoing it in the gym.

Rib would make sense. A broken or dislocated rib is a motherf***er to deal with. I've had a few. One from being cross checked by an overzealous ass in a friendly floor hockey game when I was younger. Another was from roller skiing when I attempted to stop on some grass and my ski caught and I basically did a barrel roll. If he's out for a few weeks it is probably is rib related. I don't know why I didn't think of that given my own history with ribs

Going to be a tough couple of games in TB and Florida without Norris. Especially since we are trying to hold off TB for 3rd in the Atlantic
He's definitely a big part of our team. But I also think the boys are capable of winning in his absence.
