Player Discussion Josh Norris (C) 6’-1” - Part 3

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
It looks like lower body, he was limping going down the tunnel. Hopefully, he will be fine & maybe only lose one game, he has been dynamite lately & playing great.

Yea it looked like lower body to me. He was definitely limping and had a hard time walking down the tunnel.

Doesnt look like shoulder at all

Left wrist if you ask me. Looks like he dropped his stick, left hand first and then protected that hand.

I had just finished telling my son we should only see the 3rd and 4th lines for the rest of the game when it happened.

I also immediately asked what he was doing! Can't blame him for the injury but ya, what did he hope to gain?

They were just feeling it soo good all game, maybe he thought he would sneak in another goal.
My guess is that Green talked to them after the Caps game to not stop playing their game when they get a lead and they took it to heart. Aside from the injury, it's something I like seeing...never taking their foot off the gas. But yes, I do agree the 3rd/4th lines could have been given more ice time once the score was 6-0.

For what's it worth I have been at a bar with a pulled groin before. A torn ACL, as well.

I hope it means nothing serious for Norris, but I would wait until we hear more.
I doubt the team is letting him go get drunk on a torn acl. Pulled groin maybe.

I’ll take the pulled groin over a lot of other injuries for Norris

The team doesn't tell him what he can do after he leaves the rink. Nothing says he got drunk either.

My point was more that being out at a bar doesn't completely rule out a serious injury. I believe he wouldn't do anything to make an injury worse though, so it is a good sign.

A pulled groin in hockey sucks and can linger. I admit to being relieved when I was able to see the reply though. Live at the game it looked like his arm was hanging down so I thought it might be his shoulder.

For his own mental well-being, that would have been awful.

He used both hands for leverage when going over the boards to the tunnel. Doubt it'd be the wrist if he was able to withstand his weight on his wrists like that.

Let's hope it's just a bruised testicle.

Heard on TSN1200 this morning that he's injured? I missed the game on Saturday. Was said to be limping out of the arena. :(

Anything official?

We have no idea. He was sort of doubled over holding his abdomen, so we're pretty sure it's not his shoulder, but we can't seem to agree on exactly what happened.

There have also been no updates except for Reinhardt being recalled but maybe that's a road trip thing.

We just don't really know.
