4 goals, 8 points in 9 games is pretty solid though, so maybe him setting up for the one timer isn't as necessary. He's earning his 7.85m so far I'd say.
That assist to Batherson where everyone in the world expected the shot was nice to see also. That shot opens up more than just shooting

I’m still scared every time he takes contact or falls. Don’t think that will change till the end of the season. Going a bit better than expected so far though. Which is nice.
I'm pleasantly surprised about his reactions every time he gets/throws a hit or takes a tumble. He's been aggressive, solid and not shying away from physicality, which he often did last year when he played very timid. This year is a complete 180 and nice to see

Disagree. Norris shows up in big moments, he’s not shy at all, and all of his goals have been BIG goals, he skates the ice as well as any Sen (Stu-Derson aside) and his puck support has been excellent.

Norris to me is clutch, I love how calm and efficient his mind is when the pressure is on. when we finally get going Norris is going to be our Drury, our Williams, our Point. He’s going to be the guy that when we need him in the Playoffs, he’s going to be there to score.

Clutch Norris!

Really nothing to complain about.

He’s hasn’t smashed one timers because the one timers aren’t there. And it’s opened up that whole other side of the ice on the pp

Also. The alternate story is he’s looked really good without any real notices on the PP which is where we all feel in love with him. If he gets hot on the PP he’ll go to another level again.

It seems like Norris is setting people up more now I think versus being the shooter in the bumper position. On the other side of the puck, his defensive play has looked pretty good.

I'm still not convinced that the one-timer isn't there because the PP has changed or because Norris doesn't want to (or can't) shoot one-timers. I mean, it's still a very effective tool to have and to use, if available!

The problem I see, is that teams are keying in on that right side one-timer from a left hand shot. I saw it last year with Draisaitl. Even the Oiler have had to change up their PP a little bit. Florida really keyed in on Draisaitl in the playoffs and you saw the results of that. Norris one-timer is there, I just don't think we can have a one dimensional PP. Currently our PP is clicking because the options have been open and creative. We need to keep other teams thinking and then Norris can hammer a one-timer every once in a while.
