He looks lonely, putting more pressure on himself!
PossibiltyPerhaps he's playing injured?

We have reached the *Shooting pucks by himself* stage of the drought.
You can do it Andy ~~~

An incredible streak of bad luck that he's had happen multiple times in his career? It’s an incredible streak of bad luck.
I don't think so, unlike Monahan who clearly lost a step and more faceoffs than he should, Anderson has been trying hard the last couple of games...it's just not going in.Perhaps he's playing injured?
You understand he’s likely trying to pick corners from there, not just trying to hit the net…
I guess I missed the "lol" or anything else that would imply that...You understand it was a joke
MSL needs to chill with the ice time
I don’t think he play very different than he always has, he’s just unlucky at this point most games, that’s the difference with other years. But i don’t think he play worse per say.Yeah................ this is a train wreck so far. 20 games in, I can say that he's out of it this year, for no reason other than his own fault.
He's getting every opportunity possible to get going. He's the ultimate line killer. Wow how bad is this going to end?
And, I LIKE the player. Open season on criticism.
I like the player when he is contributing in other ways. When you aren't scoring and bringing nothing else it becomes ultra frustrating. He has no push back during after whistle scrums...Yeah................ this is a train wreck so far. 20 games in, I can say that he's out of it this year, for no reason other than his own fault.

What happens if Anderson is still goaless in say...another 8 games?
Do you keep at it? You you demote him? Do you sit him? Does he come down with a mysterious injury? Does he even get waived? I am curious what folks think will happen if this continues?
I have in all of years of watching hockey never seen a routine 20 goal scorer all of a sudden stop scoring.

Funny yet sadWhen we do rename this thread to "The Scott Gomez edition"?
There is validity to this comment.Honestly, I blame St louis for thinking he was the guy who'd solve the case of josh Anderson and filling his pretty little head with fanciful stories of 'passing' and 'turning'. These new, invasive ideas have pushed out the few concepts Andy had already mastered, such as 'skate in straight line' and 'shoot puck'.
Apparently he could have traded Anderson for a 1st.In couple years the Anderson, Dvorak, Gallagher types be off the team. Hughes will be able to replace them with the Newhook, Dach, Guhle, Beck types. We see good team then.
Right now those contacts are unmovable. Holding us back. But nothing we can do right now.
