Then again. Please come ahead and tell me of one player who saw his production drastically improve playing with Kotkaniemi.

You can say that with any C on this team outside Suzuki. He's easily the best offensive catalyst. Toffoli produced with Kotkaniemi, could be worth a shot.

He has one of his better games this playoffs. Still not playing well.

The reality is that the other 3 lines are working well and this line is kind of the leftovers. No point messing with what is working.

I'd put in Tatar for Byron. The only problem is that the PK has been fantastic and Byron is part of that unit.

Just stay out of the box then. I mean how can a team expect to win if they dress players strictly for their usage on special units à la Gustafsson?

I thought Byron was one of the guys that played well last night. Remember he's a fourth line player. Theodore tripped Byron when he blasted by him.
Anderson also played much better. That solo rush easily could have resulted in a goal and we'd be all singing a different tune.

And then there's KK.....

Its weird he won't shoot the puck, only tried to drive the net. Nobody even passes him the puck for a one-timer. Either he's hurt, or his linemates know he sucks bag.

I would consider putting him with Suzuki-Caufield on the left side and slide Toffoli down to the Danault line.

I would consider sending him home for the rest of the season and tell him to pack his bags. You're going to Seattle. The only way to get rid of his albatross contract.

I don't think he's a detriment out there ...could be worst

He's a power forward type that skates very well but when it comes to puck battles, he looses more than I would like to see. Once the puck is in his feet, he is razzled. Open space and when he gets to use his edge work is his game.

But our fan base is going to put him under the microscope and expect $6M+ type results when he goes through games with no production.

Similar to Tuch?

OMG, you want to take out one of the only sources of speed on the team? Holy cow c'mon.

Anyone who thought Josh was going to be an offensive force does not know his career. Right now he is trying to be a goal scorer but looks lost. He has the gifts of size and speed which he should be using to create chances down low, that is not happening because he is floating around the high slot looking to get set up. He needs to win puck battles and be the set up guy. That is his strength and he needs the coach to change his approach because right now he is not an effective player. Play him on a line with Perry and Suzuki. Perry is good down low as well, they could be very effective! Plus two are ex-Knights and one comes from the home of the Knights.

He needs a creative offensive player to go with him KK has moments, but he's not that playmaking force now or perhaps ever. Byron is the same player as Anderson, albeit a lot smaller.

Those 3 together will generate no offense.

I would try Anderson with Suzuki and Caufield, and see if Toffoli can get KK going.

But the problem is, Anderson will likely be a hinderance to Suzuki and Caufield. Those two need someone who they can make plays with. Adnerson has tunnel vision, has trouble completing and receiving a pass, and is bad defensively. The Vegas will match Stone against Suzuki. That line has to be sound defensively.

Our 3 highest paid forwards = scratched, depressed at home, hasn't scored in 23 games.

But Bergie is a genius.
:biglaugh::cry:

don't know wether to laugh or cry...

quick, lets get that extension signed before we risk hiring a GM who isn't as good at spending cap and trade assets for such high quality roster pieces :sarcasm:

I actually hope he's hurt because if he's not, it's gonna be a long five years.

And he was so great in game one too. He had a good year with us. I suspect he probably does have some hidden injury. Whatever it is though, he needs to be so much better.
