They are pawns and whenever it benefits them they will do whatever it takes. Not many actual reporters out there anymore.

There's a lot of Blues fans that are solely blaming Kyrou and Kyrou alone for Berube being let go. And the "No Comment, He's not my coach anymore", that was being miscontrued by lovely Jeremy Rutherford, sent fans into a frenzy about how Kyrou was being ecstatic about how Berube got fired. Trust me, you missed some fun twitter/x posts earlier about Blues fans hoping Kyrou would get injured so they would never have to see him play again.

Who is whining? Kyrou quite honestly said nothing of controversy but in hockey this is a huge deal. NHL fans could not handle what happens in the NBA and NFL. Probably why players have no personalities and the game doesn’t grow.

I tend to agree. The whole thing feels rather innocuous but Blues fans are always going to be incredibly defensive of key players & coaches that ended 50 years of heartache.

I feel terrible for Kyrou, and as a Blues fan myself, it makes me sick that they'd boo him for such a shit reason. What Kyrou said wasn't the most polite way to put it, but it wasn't like he trashed Berube like Berube trashed him all the time.

I get that he's not the best defensively, I get that he has cold streaks, but he's at least trying, and he's our most dynamic offensive player aside from Thomas. I feel ashamed and disgusted that some idiots in my fanbase booed the guy to literal tears.

Berube was the head coach when that team won a Stanley Cup. He was beloved by their fan base. You should know better than to make a bland statement about him and expect the fans to ride with you, especially when you weren't apart of that Stanley Cup team. the fans super love cheif so disliked a seemingly negative comment about him , very understandable for the fans bummed out about cheif getting canned to turn their fangs on kyrou . and kyrou learns that its best to take the high road and not air any dirty laundry to the public (if thats how he meant it) , nobody wants to hear it as its much better to keep nhl culture clean of trash talk . and understandably its no easy task for pro athletes to always say the right thing in this modern day internet age where theyre under constant observation . so none of it is no big deal on anybodys part , and its cool that the fans showed respect for cheif who rocked the town a championship !
