LeBrun: Jonathan Toews "100 percent committed to coming back"

Gotta laugh at some of these posts.. he's going to be a very good bottom 6 C for a contender, who will be happy to have him. VGK, DAL, COL, TB, FLA...

Let him signed with Winnipeg coming home and let see how he will play.
Not sure a team will bet on him to be their 2 C @ League minimum contract he doesn't hurt Winnipeg and can climb in the lineup

Come to Anaheim on a one year and prove you are back. Then either go with a heavy contender the next year or stay with Anaheim depending on where they are in their progression. Makes sense from all sides.

Oilers love these kind of pick ups recently so I could see them as a fit. No real issue with giving him a contract over a PTO as long as its an amount to can bury in the minors, and my guess is Toews would mutually agree to terminate if he just doesn't have it to stick around in the NHL.

If he's legitimately healthy, I will take him at 3c in Washington. He can play with our young wingers. If he really mastered his chakras maybe he can get back to the avatar state in D.C.

I have my doubts after missing 2 full seasons and he had a lot of mileage on his body already.

sure he will be good in the dot and have leadership qualities but I really wonder if he is going to be able to keep up now as he is 37 years old.

Will be really interesting to see how this goes for him. Coming back at 37 from a long layoff and serious health issues to play professional sports is an insane plan.

As a Vancouver fan who got wrecked by him for years, I'll be rooting for him. I hope he succeeds or at least gets the closure he's looking for. Wicked player, deserves the opportunity to go out on his own terms.
