- 12 regular season and playoff home games against the Ducks since 13-14
- 3-7-2 for the Kings
- 9-2-1 for the Ducks
- 19GF, 1.58 per game
- 32GA, 2.67 per game
- One of the games was the outdoor game
- 2 goals for the Ducks were the SO winning goal
- In only 2 of the 12 games have the Kings scored more than 2 goals
- In those 2 games, the Kings scored 3 goals in each, and lost in a SO, and won in OT
- The Kings have been shut out in 3 of the 12 games, including that outdoor game, and the most recent game this season
- In the 3 wins for the Kings, the Ducks have scored 4 goals, and are 0-2-1
- In the 5 games where the Ducks have scored 2 goals or less, they are 2-2-1
- In the 10 games where the Kings have scored 2 goals or less, they are 2-7-1.

Been a rough stretch against the Ducks on home ice is what I'm saying.

There you go putting facts in a post and messing up my dreaming that we'll be starting a 22-0 run to win the fusion and 16-0 in the playoffs. Please don't do that again.

Past performance is not indicative of future results, so all hope is not lost! They just have the weight of recent performance in general, and also against a top rival at home pushing them down. Could be a turning point in the season, or another nail.

It feels like they always lose to the Ducks since 2013. Lots of boring games too.

Except for that playoff series, of course.

Pretty close to always. In the last 18 regular season games, the Kings are 5-9-4 against the Ducks, while the Ducks are 13-3-2 against the Kings.

Losing all those regular season games, will never erase the memory of the Ducks getting trashed in Game 7.

The Ducks didn't just lose that Game 7, they got thumped.

Mentally, Quick is one of the toughest players in Kings history.

Hope he isn't rushing himself.

So Lombardi says Quick might play today... shouldn't they be ****ing sure he's ready when the game is only a couple hours away???

It's probably Quick's call. And he hasn't made that call yet. And might not till after warm-ups even.
Or it's just gamesmanship on DL's part.

Cool, we're playing against yet another backup and he's a former King. What are the odds for a 40+ save shutout? 1:1.05?

Regarding Quick: it would be nice having him back, Budaj MUST rest. It's been admirable what he's done this year, but recently he's been giving up like 2 stoppable goals per game. Too bad that Zatkoff isn't an option.

Confirmed, he's starting
