I understand it just fine, however it makes zero sense. Unnamed poster made his judgement call after 3 games into the 2014 playoffs -- you are basically saying well, he wasn't spot on, but exactly 23 playoff games later AND A STANLEY CUP, he had it correct?? Ok bud....

i always like to add about quick that the only money goaltender that i ever saw that was better was hasek. if i had to have a goaltender play for my life it would be a tossup between vintage hasek and quick. cary price can kiss my ass.

Hasek was once in a lifetime, I doubt we ever see anything like him again, those Buffalo teams were just bad. If you had put Hasek on New Jersey and Brodeur on Buffalo, I bet the Devils win 5+ Stanley Cups and Brodeur isn't anywhere close to a Hall of Famer.

When someone did that all-time draft where they polled each board, I thought he should have been the Kings 1st round pick.

Yup, good point, he was absolutely incredible in that tournament, that was peak Hasek greatness.

I remember Theo Fleury saying afterwards how they didn't lose to the Czech Republic, they lost to Dominik Hasek.

He stopped 5 future Hall of Famers in the shootout.
