It's funny how people pile on teams like the red Wings, kings, ducks, sharks, Blackhawks, capitals, penguins, leafs and Lou Lamoriello (Devils and Islanders) for showing blind loyalty to their cores and giving them ridiculous long term contracts in there 30s but when Vegas and Tampa don't they are some how the bad guys?
It's sad how it's become a business. It used to be loyalty to a team and taking one for the win. Now it's about taking it to the bank.
Only place to be loyal is in junior or NCAA. Or you gotta work really hard for it.
