I was thinking about this today, forums are dying unfortunately, you pick any team's board and go back to like 2015 and GDTs are half the size, but ours is still pretty good. I picked this random 2015 GDT from the most handsome poster on the boards and almost everyone is still active. Obviously Flapanthers11 and enforce the laus are still around but not as much, but aside from Soupyfin, Kelly, Rainingrats and @Benched almost everyone from this thread is still here except for Vendetta and Impatient Panther. Maybe @Chaos2k7 can get them unbanned.

Also I do NOT remember him being this coherent

We have? used to have? a large Finnish contingent, is anyone going?

I am Finnish. I couldn't travel to Tampere because of work commitments. After winning the Stanley Cup I felt that I didn't need to try to turn every stone. Now I wish I was there.

What I have realized this week here is that I really like our players and coach Maurice. Tkachuk, Reinhart and the others who have been in interviews are really nice people. They appreciate where players are from and are open-minded when it comes to trying new things and having fun as a group. Also Bill Zito who played in Finland and had an apartment here when he worked as an agent. He is familiar with the local culture and seems to like it.

Another thing is that now everybody respects Florida Panthers here. It used to be a joke here and people were wondering why someone is a fan of the Panthers. They felt sorry for players who were drafted by the Panthers. But now everybody respects us and even people who don't follow NHL hockey know who are the Stanley cup champions.

Regardless who wins tonight, it feels great to watch these games. It took 30 years to reach this situation.

This is by far the most traffic on a message board I visit. But yes, it is in overall decline on the internet. Younger generation use different formats, and message boards is more what your 'Dad' uses.
